Patch 0.2.1 notes: Resistances



This patch contains an important gameplay change: resistances.

  •  From now on all skills will have a new variable: element. These elements are:
     Slash Strike Thrust Fire Water
     Wind Earth Light Dark Arcane
  • Gameplay
    • Alongside these elements, all units have new stats: element resistances. These stats can be: "Normal", "Weak" and "Resist".
      • Normal: the unit takes x1 damage from an attack with that element.
      • Weak: the unit takes x2 damage from an attack with that element.
      • Resist: the unit takes x0.5 damage from an attack with that element.
    • Basic skills (those without cooldown) have no element, defined as "Normal" and without an icon.
    • Support skills as "Heal" have no element but unlike basic skills, support skills have the following icon: 
    • In combat you can see the element resistances of the unit your cursor is over.
  • Characters
    • All the units have different element resistances selected manually.
    • The current skills that exists are the following:

  • Miscellaneous
    • Now the status menu displays the character resistances.
    • Now the skill info panel displays the skill cooldown.
    • A new button has been added to the battle commands: "Skills". Selecting this command will display the unit skills.
    • The unit skills are displayed differently: the element icon and the skill name.
    • The space between combat tiles has increased.
